Our vision is to spark ambition and unlock opportunity so that every young person can succeed and thrive as part of a fairer society. Our purpose is to help underserved young people discover their talents, think bigger about their future, and build the confidence and valuable skills.

Story

At The Talent Foundry, we believe every young person should be celebrated for their potential – not defined by their postcode. Where you were born, your parent’s job, your school and where you live, are all outside the control of a young person, yet unfairly affect the opportunities available to them. For those from under-served communities it’s becoming out of reach to have a better life out come than that of their parents - to be ‘socially mobile’.

Your support enables young people to discover their amazing talents, think big about their futures and build their skills, networks and confidence.

How the money you raise could change young people’s lives:

£1,100 - could help a young person take part in our pre-apprenticeship programme – giving them access to workshops and coaching to start their journey towards a rewarding career.

£250 - could support 10 young people develop teamwork and problem-solving skills through one of our facilitated employability workshops .

£27 - could support a young person work with a mentor to build their confidence in writing their CV or interview practice to apply for further education or employment.

£6 - could pay for a young person’s lunch during one of our insight days or work experience weeks; something many of those we work with cannot afford to do.

"The workshop with The Talent Foundry was truly engaging and allowed young people like myself to be able to learn how to approach opportunities which we may have otherwise thought of to be unavailable.” - Student
