I was fortunate to grow up in an environment where I could make the most of my lot. Unfortunately the world has changed, and this is more difficult for the youth of today.

I have supported this incredible charity through volunteering days that I am entitled to as a SAS employee. As the official UK charity partner for SAS, I have made a small contribution because I recognise the importance of their relentless efforts in increasing social mobility. The Talent Foundry's vision is to spark ambition and unlock opportunity so that every young person can succeed and thrive as part of a fairer society.

They do this because in the UK, parental income remains the single strongest indicator of educational attainment.

One day they will be your doctors maintaining your health, the police force keeping you safe, and world leaders!
