🏃 Running the 2027 adidas Manchester Marathon for New Futures Nepal
On 18th April 2027, our incredible runners will be lining up at the start of the adidas Manchester Marathon — the UK's second largest marathon — to raise vital funds that change children's lives in Nepal.
Who We Are
New Futures Nepal empowers disadvantaged children and adults in Nepal by raising funds for initiatives that promote health, education and independence. We are a volunteer-led charity working with local partners, keeping administration costs low and ensuring every donation goes where it's needed most. Over 20 years, we've raised over £2 million.
Our approach focuses on sustainability — ensuring that children and adults in Nepal are not only supported now, but empowered to lead independent and productive lives in the future.

Real Lives, Real Impact
The numbers matter, but the stories matter more.
Nirmala joined our Hope Centre at age 9. She went on to compete at the Para-Asian Games, was named one of 20 Inspirational Women of Nepal in 2019, and was crowned Miss Disability Queen Nepal in 2024.
Then there's Suman. Orphaned at 8 after his parents were killed in a car accident, he went on to qualify as an architectural engineer and set up his own construction business.
As one young person we support put it: "I am of those lucky children who has grown under the roof of Hope Centre. What I am today is only because of Hope Centre and New Futures Nepal."
