Every September, cyclists across the UK take on Cycle for Re-Cycle—a virtual challenge with real-world impact. Whether they ride 250 or 500 miles, every mile clocked and every pound raised helps send refurbished bikes to rural Africa, where they change lives.
Every morning, 15-year-old Abena walked 8 miles to school in Ghana’s Suhum district—often arriving too tired to concentrate.
That changed when our partners, Village Bicycle Project, donated bikes to her school.
Now, Abena cycles to school in just 35 minutes, arriving focused and ready to learn. Attendance and grades have improved—not just for her, but for many classmates too.
This September, you can help write the next chapter.
Take on our 250-mile ride (or go all in with 500 miles), and raise vital funds to help send bikes like Charles's to others in need.
You’ll be cycling for:
✔️ Children getting to school
✔️ Mothers accessing clinics
✔️ Locals reaching markets
✔️ Key workers saving time and lives
Every £1 you raise helps cover the cost of collecting, shipping, and loading bikes.
