Story
In 2017 one of our team members was crossing a murky brown river in Nigeria on a boat and noticed that this was the only source of drinking water for the people of Koma Hills. Upon returning to London, he could not stop thinking of how unfair it was for people to be living that way. He therefore got together with a group of friends and founded Well Water.
In 2018, they raised funds to turn the vision of providing clean water to the people of Koma Hills into a reality. However, there is still much need in the community and we at Well Water have decided to adopt this community and ensure that each person has access to clean water, quality education and healthcare.
Due to adverse weather conditions and poor building work, the school in the community has been destroyed. We are excited to be working with a team of young and enthusiastic architects who have committed to build a sustainable and self-sufficient school. We will be using the latest technology and natural resources available in the community to ensure that the school we build stands for generations to come.
We invite you to join us on this mission and support us to change lives for the better!
