Update - We are suspending this campaign in order to focus on the campaign to restore and bring back into service Canadian Pacific 35005.

Help us restore Sir Frederick Pile 34058.

34058 Sir Frederick Pile was built at Brighton in 1947. The locomotive was rebuilt in March 1960 and the air smoothed casing was removed and 34058 continued in service until withdrawal in October 1964, having covered 812,568 miles in service.

34058 arrived at the Watercress Line in 2011 and will be restored in due course as part of the home fleet.

The Watercress Line is a heritage railway in Hampshire running 10 miles from New Alresford to Alton where it connects to the National Rail network.
