Story
On Sunday 29 November 2026, our team will take on the seven highest peaks in the Mourne Mountains to raise £15,000 for 3Eighteen’s work in Zambia.
We’ll cover around 22 to 23km, with about 2,000m of climbing, led by experienced guides from Mourne Mountain Adventures. We expect to spend roughly 12 hours on the mountains.
The money we raise will support our Fund the Gap 2026 appeal, helping close a £60,000 shortfall in funding for our work of empowerment and discipleship in Zambia.
3Eighteen works alongside local churches and staff to support people through microloans, business training, education and discipleship. A change in the exchange rate means the pounds we send now buy fewer kwacha, so it takes more sterling to cover the same local costs.
You can support the whole challenge here or sponsor someone you know through their individual fundraising page. Together, we’re working towards the same goal.
Thank you for supporting the team and the work in Zambia.
