The Badgers Tour de Yorkshire 10th to 13th June 2021

In June 2021 the Badgers Tour de Yorkshire will be visiting Gods Own Country and home of the 2014 Tour de France.

We will once again be on the tail of the professional teams as we explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park and pick up 2014 Tour de France climbs like Buttertubs and Oxnop Scar. Along the way we will be treated to some of the great Yorkshire sites such as Bolton Abbey and Brimham Rocks.

There will be hills, dales, empty roads, rolling hills, stunning scenery, impressive food, 3 nights in a 4-star hotel in Harrogate and, of course, amazing cycling!

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children's lives through medical research. For 65 years they have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths.

This year the Badgers are also going to #backtheboat by supporting Team Elijahs Star (www.elijahsstar.com), four guys, including two of our own - Dean Frost & Phil Bigland - who are setting off in December to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

Team Elijahs Star are supporting Action Medical Researchs vital work to shine a spotlight on the impact premature birth has on babies and their families and to help fund more research that can save lives. The team have taken their name from baby Elijah, a premature but much-loved son and brother, who sadly lived for just 37 days.

With your support they will be able to fund research to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children. Thank you!
