Story
When elderly patients stay in hospital for a long time and are inactive, they are much more likely to experience low mood, lack of energy and social withdrawal.
Staff on the ward put a huge amount of time and care into supporting their patients; helping them to dress in their own clothes rather than hospital pyjamas, walk to the toilet themselves and wash their own face.
Because staff know that moving speeds up recovery times, they wish they could do more to reduce the amount of time patients spend in bed.
Will you help us to raise £10,000 to provide extra facilities for patient's in F7?
Your gift could help us buy radios, new sofas, up-to-date magazines, art supplies and games.
It would mean that elderly patients have more to do while in hospital and can get back on their feet and back home, where they want to be.
