The Giraffe Project children's charity, working with a set of local partner schools and educational institutions in Kenya, provides educational opportunities for over 400 children/students a year from the most impoverished areas of Nairobi, Kenya.
We have been doing this now for over 15 years, following our original Giraffe Project mission from 2005 of "helping children to walk tall into their futures".
By sponsoring our team of runners/walkers in the Brussels 20km , you help us
- improve infrastructure in our partner schools such as classrooms, dorm space, water supply and toilets
- provide urgently needed educational materials such as books, science lab equipment and computers
- support activities such as career counselling and health advice that promote the well-being of our pupils
