You can help save endangered animals by participating in Giraffe About Town, a family-friendly art trail featuring more than 40 magnificent giraffe sculptures across Scotland's capital this summer. Designed to raise awareness of the threats faced by animals such as giraffes, the trail is an opportunity to raise much needed funds for wildlife conservation.
Brought to you by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's (RZSS) Edinburgh Zoo, in partnership with Wild in Art, the trail can help us all reconnect with the city while caring for nature and supporting the arts. The wildlife conservation charity has pledged to reverse the decline of at least 50 species by 2030, including pine hoverflies in the Cairngorms National Park, chimpanzees in Uganda, giant anteaters in Brazil and many more.
There are so many ways to enjoy the spectacular Giraffe About Town art while raising money for a cause you care about. You can create your own trail challenge as an individual or a team, by foot or on wheels, in one day or over several weeks. Visit GiraffeAboutTown.org.uk/fundraising for some fabulous fundraising ideas.
If you feel inspired and would like to take part in the trail challenge, find the "start fundraising" button at the top of this page. Please email supportus@rzss.org.uk if you have any questions!
You are making a massive difference to wildlife thank you! From protecting giraffes in Africa to ensuring a future for the Scottish wildcat, your gift will have a real impact.
