Story
After a successful trip in November 2022, April 23 and November 24, this December Last Night A DJ Saved My Life’s founder Jonny, will embark on a journey to Sierra Leone alongside Steve Mac and Jono Heale on a powerful mission to build hope through music and art in collaboration with WAYout Arts.
WAYout Arts supports street, vulnerable, and conflict affected young adults through the arts. With a life-changing programme of activities, this groundbreaking project offers training, shelter, and the opportunity to drive social change through filmmaking and music. By promoting artistic freedom, education and empowerment for the most marginalised young people WAYout Arts help the excluded to re-engage.
Donations to this trip will help us to continue delivering this project and supporting young people on their creative journeys.
Your donations will help to fund a project which will:
- Elevate the self-worth of young adults
- Empower young people to develop freedom of expression and agency
- Provide a safe space for young adults to learn
- Provide access to positive role models
- Create opportunities to build confidence
- Improve and increase accessibility to resources so more young adults can learn
- Supply further equipment enabling the impact of this project to widen
We are so grateful for the donations we receive and carefully consider how we spend your money. When you dig deep for us, we know that it is because you want to show your appreciation, admiration and support for the incredible people we serve and because you want to help us on our mission to change lives and save lives.
We never take a donation for granted, no matter how small. We are blessed to have an incredible community of supporters behind us, and we count ourselves lucky every time a member chooses to donate.
Thank you!
Always Love, Always Smiles,
Team LNADJ x
