The MPS Society provides specialist support to children, adults and families in the UK who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related lysosomal storage diseases and we fund research into treatment and therapies. These diseases are rare, genetic, life-limiting conditions with no cure.

Story

Update 16th September 2021 - Race day is fast approaching and our team for the in-person event is made up of Sophie, Luke and latecomer Craig. Welcome to the team Craig! Lianne and Medeah have both deferred their place to 2022. If you haven't sponsored our team yet, there's still time. We can't wait to hear how they all get on next month.

________________

Update 12th April 2021 - They did it! Congratulations Sophie, Lianne and Medeah for completing your race. You've also smashed your target and your fundraising money will now help so many of our families who are affected by MPS, Fabry and related conditions. Thanks also to everyone who supported you. What an amazing achievement!

Update 1st March 2021 - The RPH has now turned virtual. Our 3 runners, Sophie, Lianne and Medeah will now complete the race in their local areas. They have been training hard and you can cheer them on by making a donation. Thank you from everyone at the MPS Society!

--------------------------

The MPS Society provides vital support to families affected by one of 25 rare, life limiting genetic conditions. We want all affected children and adults to know where to turn for specialist knowledge, support and advice.

Please help us raise at least £1,500 by joining our Royal Parks Half Marathon team or making a donation. This stunning 13.1 mile route takes in the capital's world-famous landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Houses of Parliament and the Royal Albert Hall. We ask for a £30 registration fee and £350 minimum sponsorship from each runner.

Email fundraising@mpssociety.org.uk for more info or sign up via our website. If running isn't your thing, but you'd like to spur on our team, please donate using the link above. Thank you from everyone at the MPS Society. :)
