What is the Reading Half Marathon?

The Reading Half is Readings most iconic race! Starting at Green Park, the 13.1 mile route takes in the highlights of the centre of Reading and passes through the beautiful grounds of the University campus. The race culminates in magnificent finish with over 15,000 people cheering you into the Madejski stadium and over the finish line.

How many places do we have?

Launchpad has a number of places for the Reading Half so get in touch if youd like to take on this challenge and join Team Launchpad. If you already have your own place at the Reading Half, you are more than welcome to join our team too!

How much will I need to fundraise?

We are asking Team Launchpad half marathon runners to commit to raising a minimum of £250 and there is no registration fee.

What difference will your fundraising make?

Launchpad help vulnerable people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home in Reading and only with your support can we continue this vital work. Every step you take when you take on this challenge, will help us prevent homelessness in our town.

How do we support members of Team Launchpad?

All of our runners will receive a free technical t-shirt, a fundraising pack filled with ideas to help you raise money, and our dedicated fundraising team on hand with tips and advice throughout your training.
