Visit the charity's profileOn Friday 8 July, the 110 players from RPT FC, aged 4 to 15, and their parents will be taking part in a 5k run to raise money for their Football Academy.
Every penny donated will support RPT FC, including paying for uniforms, pitch-hire, training and trips. The Rugby Portobello Trust's Football Academy is 74% funded by donations from the local community, so your support really does make a difference.

The RPTs Football Academy runs 36 weeks of the year, 7 days per week, on site at our North Kensington centre and off-site using hired pitches and halls. Each player has two training sessions per week (1-2 hours per session) plus one competitive match each Saturday, with U14s also taking part in matches with Wembley FC on Sundays. In addition to this, our players take part in summer tournaments and some take part in residentials and international tours.

RPT FC has been running in its current form for 10 years, giving over 300 children their first taste of organised sport and their first introduction to working as a team.
