This March, we're launching our second virtual Race to the Base event, but this year's challenge is going to be bigger, better, and more competitive than ever before.

So, here's how it works: you'll choose to complete one of three distances - 32, 78 or 130 miles, which are each captained by a department of our critical care team.

Whether you want to run, hop, skip, jump or cycle to raise money for GNAAS, your team leader will be completing the challenge by your side.

Take your pick:

* Join Team Pilots on the 32-mile journey from the RVI in Newcastle to the GNAAS HQ in Eaglescliffe

* Be a part of Team Doctors on the 78-mile journey from the RVI in Newcastle, to our base in Langwathby and back to our HQ in Eaglescliffe

* Or get involved with Team Paramedics, who'll be making the 130-mile journey from Newcastle's RVI, to both our bases and back again
