Story
At Reverse Rett, the COVID-19 crisis has significantly impacted our fundraising. All our events and fundraising challenges up until August are cancelled. In the next few months, we will lose fundraising income of over £150,000.
The Reverse Rett Resilience Appeal which will be matched pound for pound (up to £10,000 in matched donations) will help us recoup some of that lost income.
At Reverse Rett, we're doing everything we can to help families of children and adults with Rett Syndrome through the COVID-19 crisis. We're working to find other ways to fundraise and generate income so that we can keep supporting the ongoing work of the Centre for Personalised Medicine in Rett syndrome at King's College Hospital and research projects at the University of Edinburgh which will resume as soon as the lock down is lifted.
Our special thanks to Reverse Rett Chairman, John Sharpe and his wife, Maureen and Reverse Rett Trustee, Neil Buckley and his wife, Kate, who have committed to matching direct donations to this Appeal up to the value of £5000 each, a total of £10,000 in matched funding.
Were relying on our brilliant supporters to help us through this difficult time. We know you will be thinking of us and everyone affected by Rett Syndrome during the crisis and that you will help if you can.
We deeply appreciate any support you can offer. In this difficult moment for all of us, we hope that you and your family keep safe and well.
