The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileFollowing the loss of their beloved daughter Sian, Sian's family set up Shine for Sian. Sian's family work tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health and raise funds for Lancashire Mind. To date the Shine for Sian campaign has raised over £50,000 for Lancashire Mind, to help support the work we do in North Lancashire. This event is being organised by Sian's family and Lancashire Mind.
Over 150 people will be walking the 6-8 miles across the sands over 3-4 hours to help raise funds and awareness for better mental health and wellbeing for people living and working in Lancashire. Please do support our walkers with a donation.
We are your local independent mental health charity. At any one time, 1 in 4 people are experiencing poor mental health. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to many of us experiencing poor mental health for the first time. We're here to help you understand and look after your mental health and wellbeing, whether you need some support to improve your mental health or you want to learn how to stay mentally healthy.
At Lancashire Mind, we're leading a wellbeing revolution, to get people talking about mental health, to help ourselves and each other.
We're working towards a Lancashire where:
we can all achieve good mental health and wellbeing
people living with a mental health condition get the right support when needed
we don't treat people differently because of their mental health
