The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileMax is 9 years old, has two brothers and loves Doctor Who.
Born premature he has already faced so many battles in is life and was finally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the summer of 2020 during the first lockdown. This was no surprise to Max's family as he had always needed additional support. Max was also diagnosed with global developmental delay, fine motor skills issues, difficulties with social interaction and understanding emotions.
Due to covid and lockdown Max now struggles with the outside world more than ever and unfamiliar places can be quite upsetting. Max's anxiety and stressed causes melt downs which have been getting progressively worse and some have even resulted in injury. It was at this point that Max's family knew they needed to do what ever they could to support Max and his needs.
We are supporting Max and his family to raise £9450 for a fully trained Autism Support Dog.
This dog is to be Max's best friend as well as support system. Its our hope that in time the dog can keep Max calm and ease his stresses and anxiety.
We would greatly appreciate any support or donations to Max's campaign.
