Story

At Together Against Cancer, we do things a little differently. We support people impacted by cancer physically, emotionally, and practically. We equip people with the tools & knowledge needed to promote good health and to live well with cancer. It's our mission to educate, inspire and support people throughout the UK with awareness before cancer, living well with a cancer diagnosis and after surgery or traumatic treatments.

We are looking for 12 teams of up to 4 cyclists to take part in this spin cycle challenge, suitable for people of all abilities, the beginner, and the advanced cyclist, giving both a chance to test their fitness and focus on the challenge ahead. The team will push together to keep the wheels spinning for 3 hours of non-stop cycling! You will be inspired and motivated by the wonderful coaches from The Engine Room Gym.

Join our fundraising campaign, using the link on this page (Start Fundraising), create your personalised story to attract sponsorship and register your team to secure a spin cycle by emailing: fundraising@togetheragainstcancer.org.uk. If you wish to participate but do not have a team of up to 4 let us know on the above email address and we shall link you in with others.

We shall forward a dedication Together Against Cancer bib for you to personalise and wear on the day and will email this to you once you are registered for the event, giving you time to make this as creative as you wish.

Please feel free to wear comfortable clothing of your choice, fancy dress is encouraged and bring a water bottle with you.

The event is FREE to enter but as a goal for sponsorship it would be great if each team (bike) could raise £100, so £25 per entrant to pay for a complementary therapist to visit someone living with cancer in their home, so relieving their pain and helping them to relax, or £15 can pay for someone to attend a half day wellbeing workshop at our centre and £10 can pay for someone to receive a healing deliciously 'Recipes For Life' book.

£100 will pay for two cooking sessions to be filmed and edited for the TAC Healing Hub which is our Online support site, please take a look at what is on offer to all, you may wish to sign up!
