We believe no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We listen, give support and advice, and fight for those who need our help. Our services promote recovery and empower you to take control of your mental health and wellbeing, building resilience and improving quality of life.

Story

The most barked about event of the year for our paw-some supporters and human best friends, kindly sponsored by Rosemullion Vets and in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Truro Boscawen. Set in one of Cornwall's most stunning locations, dogs, walkers and runners will take on a bespoke 5k kindly made accessible by The National Trust. The route takes in part of the beautiful gardens, woodland paths which weave around ancient oaks, and private parkland with epic views of the Fal Estuary, finishing outside the stately Trelissick House.

It is estimated that one in four of us will struggle with a mental health problem at some point each year. When you're managing a mental health problem, or supporting someone who is, having access to the right information and support is vital and we believe no-one should have to face a mental health problem alone.

Although were affiliated to Mind, the national charity, Cornwall Mind is an independently registered and funded charity, dependent on fundraising and donations to continue our vital work in the community. When you fundraise for Cornwall Mind, rest assured, all your hard work and fundraising efforts directly benefit people in our local communities. Every penny donated stays in the county and helps to fund our wellbeing and recovery groups.

Here at Cornwall Mind, we are passionate about the benefits that being a dog owner can bring. Dogs can help enrich our lives, bringing unconditional love and companionship. They help bring structure and routine to our day, help us meet new people and become a loyal member of the family. In addition to helping to reduce anxiety, depression and loneliness, there are all the benefits that come from regularly exercising your dog, getting out for a daily walk is certainly proven to be good for our wellbeing. Thank you for supporting Bark Run! and fundraising for Cornwall Mind - the perfect opportunity to combine the benefits of being outdoors, getting active and spending precious time with our furry friends.

Every step you take and every penny you raise with your trusted companion will help us to keep being here for those that need us
