Story

Hi everyone. My name is Alan Clay and I am a grateful client now volunteer for Helping Hands Essex (HHE for short). HHE deal with those of us in society with addictions, but mainly affected by the demon drink, and there are a lot of us in need of such help. We are very fortunate that the current encumbent Mayor of Chelmsford, Jude Deakin, was a founder member of our charity that has helped so many in the past. During her tenure as Mayor her charity will be supporting not only HHE but also two other very worthwhile local charities, Sanctus, who are extremely busy supporting the homeless in and around Chelmsford, and also Mid and North Essex Mind who's expertise in mental health is renown. In todays climate all these charities are in great demand and funds are constantly needed to keep them running. As we are all mostly self funded, it is a constant battle to survive and we all need a great deal of help to achieve this.

All these charities will receive a lot of very essential help and funding if you support and donate to the next death defying feat of our HHE Chairman of Trustees, Val Chiswell. Val reaches the young old age of 80 years on 8th December and in celebration of this she will be jumping out of a small plane and skydiving over Beccles in Suffolk.(The actual date will be around then as it is all dependent on the prevailing weather conditions). What a way to mark your 80th birthday. Val has a penchant for madness having previously undertaken a wing walk again in the aid of charity. Oh what a woman. I raise my hat to her.

So please, if you are able to, follow the link below and make a donation, no matter what, to support Val's valiant effort for the Mayor's Charity. This in turn will greatly assist the charities mentioned who are desperately in need of funds to support those in need of help and guidance in today's traumatic, and at times, bewildering society.

Thankyou from us all.
