Such atrocities reinforce our beliefs, that we must stand steadfast, against all forms of extremism. Now, more than ever, we must strive to build bridges between communities and reach out to one another. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those effected by the terrorist attacks at Al-Noor Mosque and Linwood Mosque in Christchurch New Zealand. It is incumbent on our policymakers to ensure that Islamophobia is taken seriously as a form of prejudice with serious consequences.
