About Abbie and The Heads On Charity:

Before Abbie passed away, she got her dream job of working for Sussex partnership as a mental health worker. Their young people remember Abbie for her limitless compassion and sparkling smile. No matter what time of day or night it was she was always smiling. Abbie was extremely creative and helped young people with her unique distraction techniques that ranged from speaking in ‘dinosaur’ to karate chopping their nightmares away. She always made time for everyone, listened without judgement and installed hope that recovery was possible. Amazing, bold, bright, inspiring, energetic.

Heads On do everything they can to make things better for the people who come to Sussex Partnership for help, by providing funding for special projects, patient and family support, pioneering research and the transformation of local mental health hospitals into more comfortable and welcoming environments.

With helping to fundraise for Heads On, they can help to provide the best possible support to people with mental health problems across Sussex and beyond.
