Changing lives through sailing

Raising funds to enable children and young people with additional needs and disabilities to sail. And raising funds to support children and young people who could not come otherwise, to sail with us.

Established in 2012 as a charity with the aims of making sailing accessible to all. We organise sailing and development activities across the North East of Scotland for people of all ages and abilities, and from all backgrounds with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Story

We're fund raising so that children and young people with disabilities, with additional support needs, and children in poverty can come sailing with us. We believe that all children should have this chance, and that sailing is a fantastic sport for all. Whether you are a wheelchair user, whether you have a different learning style, whether you need extra support to get out there, or whether you just can't have this opportunity because you don't have enough money, we want you to have this chance.

If you are able to chip in something towards this campaign, you will be helping young wheelchair users to learn to sail and begin a lifetime of sailing & racing with their local sailing club.

You will be helping children and young people with autism find their freedom and relaxation on the water, where they can problem solve and learn in a style that makes sense to them.

You will be helping children find a sport they can call their own, where they belong, where they are valued, where they make enduring friendships and grow in confidence as they grow up.

You will be helping children and young people to a bright and exciting future where they can grab opportunities.

Sometimes, when you step back to watch, it feels like our instructors sprinkle magic dust around.

You will be changing lives. These children and young people deserve some of this magic dust too.
