Open to any adult in the |United Kingdom who has an acquired brain injury (ABI), this event marks the culmination of months of dedication and hard work.
The ABI Games™ 2025 will take place on 20 August 2025 at the University of Worcester Sports Arena, and it's open to adults with acquired brain injuries from across the UK. Organised by Headway Worcestershire, the event celebrates resilience and recovery through four inclusive categories:
Physical Activities
Creative Expression
Cognitive Skills
Life Skills
Participants can attend in person, but those entering Creative Expression and Life Skills categories can also participate remotely if travel is a barrier.
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps provide essential training, equipment, and travel expenses, ensuring our clients can fully participate and shine on their big day. For example, £10 will sponsor a commemorative T-shirt for the day, whilst £15 ensures reliable transport to and from the event is provided.
Adults with acquired brain injuries from anywhere in the UK can participate in the ABI Games™. With two events, 2022 & 2023 now completed, focus is on ABI Games™ 2025 at the Worcester University Sports Arena. These incredible individuals have overcome significant challenges, demonstrating remarkable strength and determination. However, they need your support to make it happen.
Adults across the UK living with acquired brain injuries (ABI) face daily battles that are often invisible — and fatigue is one of the most overwhelming. It’s not just tiredness; it’s a deep, persistent exhaustion that affects every part of life.
