There’s been an incredible wave of love and memories shared across the AFPST snow family in honour of Scott our teammate, our brother, our Snowboarding Legend. His energy, kindness, and stoke for life were contagious, and it’s clear just how many lives he lifted along the way. The stories being shared are full of laughs, powder days, and heartfelt moments each one a tribute to the mark he made on our snow family.

Scott wasn’t just part of the crew he was the crew. Always ready with a grin, a hand to help, or a bag full of prosthetic legs that somehow made airport security feel like a comedy sketch. He welcomed everyone UK, international, newbie, GB Rider with open arms and that signature Scottopus spirit.

From these wonderful words we have captured the below that we hope will bring some comfort at this difficult time, but please keep reaching out to each other. Know you are part of our snow family, know you are loved dearly by us all, and know we are here 💕

Now we could let the sorrow pull us under, but that’s not how he rode, and that’s not how he lived. So instead we will smile, we will remember the turns we shared with him, the mischief in the chalet, the lift chats, and the courage he showed chasing his Paralympic dream.

We can close our eyes and pray that he will come back, or we can open our eyes and see all the incredible memories he has left us out on the snow. The way he lit up when talking about Caitlin his rock, who many of us got to know, and his daughter Alex, who he loved with all his heart and spoke about with deep pride.

We may ride on with heavy hearts, but also with gratitude. For Scott. For what he gave us. And for each other. Because this is what family looks like.

Caitlin, you are wrapped in the love of this community now and always. We are holding you close. You are not alone you’re surrounded by a snow family who love you, and we’ll ride this out together.

We now can remember him and only that he is gone, or we can cherish his memory and let it live on.
