We are asking, on behalf of the Turkana of Kenya and the Wodaabe of Niger, for your compassion and assistance in helping people in desperate need.

The drought in these communities, where we have worked, has been going on for three years. While our many friends have been doing their best to survive the drought, the pandemic, and the global situation, they are now facing odds that require an extra helping hand to aid them to continue their way of life, and to survive at all.

Your support will mean we can give them the food and supplies they need to bridge this time of extraordinary hardship and enable them to look towards the future, instead of an increasingly bleak present.

All the financial help, however large or small, is so appreciated. As are any efforts you can make to spread the word of this campaign. All donations received by our foundation via this campaign will be distributed to the community elders and leaders with whom we have visited, lived, worked with, and documented over the decades. We have recorded their past, we hope you will help us to ensure their future.
