On behalf of the Turkana of Kenya and the Wodaabe of Niger we ask for your compassion and assistance in their desperate need.

The drought affecting these communities has been going on for three years. While our many friends have been doing their best to survive the drought and the global situation, they now face odds that require an extra help to continue their way of life, and to survive at all.

Your support will mean they can get the food and supplies they need to bridge this time of extraordinary hardship and enable them to look towards the future, instead of an increasingly bleak present.

All donations received by our foundation via this campaign will be distributed to the community elders and leaders with whom we have visited, lived, worked with, and documented over the decades.
