The AGS foundation is a grant making charitable foundation (Registered charity number 1173076). Our objects: The relief of those in need by reason of mental and/or physical disability and/or long-term illness in such ways as the charity trustees in their discretion think fit. Secondly, the promotion of equal rights for disabled people and to advance such charitable purposes. We primarily achieve this by: 1: Organising genuine challenges that are expeditionary in nature undertaken by members of the disabled community providing focus, mentoring and positive messaging within and externally from the disabled community. 2: Providing financial support to members of the disabled community on successful completion of a grant application process to support the applicant; participate in sporting or expeditionary challenges, gain qualifications towards meaningful occupation, live independently and meet the additional costs of medical care as a result if disability.
