Lace up your boots for the Snowdon Challenge! 🥾
This September, a team of incredible supporters are lacing up their hiking boots and taking on an unforgettable challenge: climbing Mount Snowdon in support of Alexandra House of Joy.
With every single step up the mountain, we are climbing closer to something truly extraordinary for our community.
🏔️ Why We Are Climbing
Alexandra House of Joy is on a mission to build a purpose-built, specialist centre in Bicester for adults with severe and profound learning disabilities. This much-needed centre will provide:
🔸 Vital specialist care and day-time support.
🔸 Respite services to support local families and carers who give so much to their loved ones every day.
🔸 Dignity, joy, and community in a safe, welcoming environment.
🔸 Compassionate end-of-life care.
🏆 Help Us Hit a Historic Milestone!
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we are now less than £20,000 away from reaching our first £1 million fundraised.
Hitting this target will officially unlock Phase One of the building project, bringing the centre one massive step closer to reality. This challenge is about more than just reaching a physical summit - it’s about community, determination, and building a place of joy, dignity, and belonging.
