We are fundraising in support of Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, which provides vital additional support to seriously ill children and their families when facing a potentially life-changing hospital visit, predominantly at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.

With your support, the charity helps to speed up recovery, reduce fear and provide reassurance, distraction and enjoyment throughout a child’s hospital journey. This includes funding arts and activities sessions, wellbeing support for children and families, and access to non-clinical spaces where families can take time away from the wards together.

Donations also support life-changing medical equipment, such as specialist airway kits for newborns and VR headsets to help soothe and distract children experiencing severe pain or anxiety.

In addition, the charity supports children’s services across the region, including St John’s Hospital in Livingston, Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline, and Sunndach and Calareidh Respite Services, improving environments, providing equipment, and enhancing sensory and creative opportunities for children with complex needs.
