Story

Shipman Wealth is fundraising in support of the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity, which raises funds for the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to benefit both patients and staff, beyond what is possible through NHS funding alone.

The charity supports vital projects across the hospital, including the purchase of specialist medical equipment, investment in capital schemes, patient welfare initiatives, staff training and development, staff wellbeing, and medical research.

This charity was nominated by a member of our team whose family members have received exceptional care at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. More recently, the hospital provided compassionate end-of-life care to their family, making this cause particularly meaningful to us.

The charity’s main appeal is currently fundraising for a new super theatre at the hospital — a transformational facility that will provide life-changing resources for patients across Devon and the wider South West. With £700,000 raised so far, the appeal is halfway towards its £1.4 million target.

By supporting this appeal, we can help make a lasting difference to our community and ensure outstanding care continues for generations to come. Thank you for your generosity and support.
