Story

What is the Anti-Running Marathon?

A marathon is a test of endurance. This is yours.

Choose something that challenges you, keeps you going, or pushes you out of your comfort zone, and turn it into your own Anti Running Marathon. All the commitment. None of the running.

How it works

1. Pick your challenge: Something that takes effort, consistency or courage.

2. Set up your page: Tell your story and invite people to support you.

3. Go the distance: Stick with it, share your progress and raise money for change.

Even on the days you’d rather not.

Why it matters

Your challenge might be playful, but the impact is real.

Every day, people come to Alcohol Change UK looking for support, information and a way forward. Your fundraising helps make sure that support is there when they need it.

Every 24 seconds, someone visits our website for advice about alcohol. That’s thousands of moments every day where someone is looking for change.

Your Anti Running Marathon helps turn those moments into real support.

This is for everyone.

You don’t need to be fit.

You don’t need to be experienced.

You don’t need to be a runner.

You just need to start.

And keep going, even when you’d rather not.
