We supported him last year. Now he is passing his expertise on and has 19 apprentices (he did have 23 but 4 graduated !) For him training others is really important and made all the difference to him.

He said the sewing machines that he bought with the grant have enabled him to train his apprentices on practical work faster, showing them more skills, and so they can work on products faster. “Formerly, customers would come but often their items would be delayed, I only had one machine so everything would take a long time. Now, even customers from Wa come to me as they know they can get their products quick!”
