I am taking on the Tough Mudder Challenge! Obstacles, mud, water and teamwork combine to make this a unique adventure! I am doing this for Action Through Enterprise - ATE.

ATE work to improve the lives of families of children living with special needs. They run monthly support groups, provide education, advice on health, playschemes and support those who are able to go to mainstream school.

9 schools receive free school meals so children no longer have to choose between education or work

Each year oportunities for girls to progress to apprenticeships or senior high school are funded by ATE.

Typical costs are

For one month:

£8.75 motorbike maintenance and phone data for 1 team member

£31 funding for 1 monthly SNAP meeting

£6.50 lunch for 1 child

£77 sanitary pads for all female apprentices
