York Against Cancer is a local charity helping local people affected by cancer. We provide care and support for patients and their families in York and North & East Yorkshire, fund pioneering cancer research and provide cancer awareness education and information.
All our work is funded by fundraising and donations. We are so grateful to all Aviva colleagues taking part in the Aviva York Cycling Challenge, who are helping to support the range of services we provide, including the running of The Leveson Centre - a support centre for people living with cancer, our free minibus transportation service for patients, the funding of world-leading research and our respite homes in Filey and Yapham.
£10 would enable a chat with a cancer support specialist
£25 would enable a cancer patient to have a complementary therapy treatment
£100 would fuel our minibus for 1 week
£1,000 would fund a respite break for 4 families
£5,000 would enable us to provide 1 month of welfare and benefits advice
£10,000 would enable 66 patients to receive a series of 6 complementary therapy sessions
We'll get through this together.
