We all need something to smile about right now and at the time of planning the sleigh routes we of course hope that we are allowed out. We like many charities have been unable to fundraise in the normal ways this year, but we enjoy bringing Santa, and the positive feedback we receive makes it worth it.

The children's smiling faces (and adults) makes it all worth it. The Christmas collections all go in to our Charity fund, which is used to support many local causes, clubs and individuals alike.

We plan to be out with Santa in the evenings for a week in December. We won't be at the Tesco store at the weekend. Routes and dates will be posted on Facebook and our website www.bartonlions.co.uk.

Remember no crowds or gatherings are permitted and social distancing must be maintained. Follow the rules and we will get through this.
