Founded around their kitchen tables in June 2015 by three local mums – Baby Bank Network has come a long way since. Last year Baby Bank Network turned 10 years old, and had supported over 11,500 families, re-distributing over half a million essential items such as; Moses baskets, cots, prams, slings, clothes, weaning equipment, toiletries, books and toys.

Sadly, the issues faced by the families we support are just as relevant now as they were in 2015. Many are on a low income, often facing additional challenges such as domestic abuse, seeking refuge or asylum, homelessness, mental health issues or are mums under 21.

Working with local referral partners already supporting the family, Baby Bank Network redistributes pre-loved items for their children. We believe that no family should have to go without the essentials for their babies.

These items can help to create a safer home environment for children, reduce the financial burden on families and lead to an improvement in parents' and carers' mental well-being, lower anxiety, and increased ability to focus on other aspects of home life.

We rely on donations of pre-loved goods, and fundraising to continue delivering this free service to families. In May our brave team will be taking on the Great Bristol Run.
