The Big Walk 2020
Organised by The PACE CentreThe 2020 Big Walk starts at Watlington and takes in the beautiful Ridgeway Trail including Chinnor, Princes Risborough and Wendover. Choice of three routes: 18m, 12m and 6 m.
Story
For the children at Pace, walking can be a big challenge, however taking a few tentative steps can lead to much greater independence. YOU can help transform young lives by putting on your own walking shoes and joining us for the 2020 Big Walk.
This years Big Walk routes take in the Ridgeway Trail between Watlington and Wendover. Refreshments, snacks and plenty of motivation will be provided en route and a warm, celebratory welcome will greet you at the end of the walk for you to enjoy with your friends and family.
There is a choice of three routes depending on how many steps you're willing to take!:
Watlington to Wendover (approx. 18 miles)
Chinnor to Wendover (approx. 12 miles)
Princes Risborough to Wendover (approx. 6 miles)
I have been committed to Pace for over 7 years. As I watch the children at Pace motivate themselves despite their disabilities and challenges, I continue to feel that I should challenge myself by undertaking the Big Walk and raise funds to help the children at Pace. Raising money for Pace means greater opportunities for the children.
So take on this challenge and turn one amazing day for you, into a great future for our children.
