Release Counselling and Therapy for Women, the Charity which founded and runs Mummyshock in Brighton & Hove, is passionate about helping mums who might be having a hard time finding their feet emotionally, to find a supportive community of other mums in the same boat, and support one another to grow in confidence and well-being.

Our goal is to nurture mental health resilience in new mums, in a supportive community of women.

Since Covid-19, demand for our Mummyshock support groups has grown by 300%. The need is bigger than ever before, so that is why a team of us are running the Brighton 10k in November, to raise crucial funds to provide more Mummyshock support groups for more mums in the year ahead.
