Story
A team of fundraisers will be pedalling from the doors of St Peter's Hospice in Bristol to the majestic city centre of Amsterdam and the home of cycling. Four days, over 275 miles, and all to raise vital funds for local patients and their families.
This is an incredible challenge to take on, and each rider has pledged to raise £1,950 to support the Hospice. This could fund 15 sessions with our Psychological Therapies team, giving patients and their loved ones a safe space to talk through worries and find calm during incredibly challenging moments.
Any support you can give and any amount you can donate to the team for taking on this challenge will be so incredibly appreciated.
"Having the Hospice at the end of the phone means I don't have to go to A&E, which I'm very grateful for. I try to live my life the best I can, enjoying things and embracing what I've got. The Hospice has given me coping mechanisms, helped me with acceptance and given me control over what I do." – words of a patient
Thank you to all of our fundraisers and good luck for the ride!
