We are blessed in Scotland to have scenic hills, spectacular mountains and interesting wildlife, and May is a great time to go exploring – often the weather is fine and the midges are few.

The challenge is to climb any hill called ‘ben’ during the month of May, rally some friends and family and head out to enjoy a day in the hills. Not all bens are huge mountains, some are modest wee hills which take only a couple of hours to climb.
