Organised by Whitchurch Waterway Trust WWTWhitchurch Waterway Trust need to dredge the canal & repair the collapsing banks to preserve the access to the Arm. This is very expensive and a regular cost to the Trust before we can develop the asset any further.
Our links to the past in Whitchurch are very strong and part of that is our very own area of Llangollen Canal. The history it brings to the area is amazing and the potential for the future could be unbelievable.
But day to day it costs a lot to maintain and look after. Grass grows, weeds thrive, silt builds up & walls corrode. This all costs time & money.
We want to extend & create better facilities but WWT need your help.
