Cyclists Fighting Cancer are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2025 and aiming to deliver their 10,000th bike to a child living with cancer, but can only do this with the help of our amazing fundraisers!
Every year in the UK 2,400 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Exercise has been shown in numerous scientific studies to be the single most effective way of improving both physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer. We recommend cycling for children as it is low impact, outdoors, sociable and fun!
All of your fundraising goes towards supporting children just like 4 year old Tilly who was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma in her left femur last year. She has had many rounds of chemotherapy and an operation to remove two thirds of her femur bone which was replaced with a prosthetic, and she is currently undergoing intense physiotherapy to get her walking again. The family say,
“Since our daughter has had her new bike, we have noticed a significant improvement with her mobility in her leg & hip. Her physio has said that cycling is one of the best forms of exercise that she can do and is very impressed with her progress! Her big Brother is so chuffed as well now that he has a 'big boy' bike in his favourite colour. Thank you so much again for giving our children this opportunity to cycle together”.

Thank you.
