Riding the Cheshire Cat Sportive to help kids with cancer

nigel slater is raising money for Cyclists Fighting Cancer

Cheshire Cat Sportive 2025 · 23 March 2025 ·

The iconic Cheshire Cat was one of the first major Sportives and remains one of the must do events in the UK cycling calendar with great routes of 51, 80 and 108 miles to choose from all taking in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Story

Every year around 2,400 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer. CFC helps them regain their physical fitness and mental wellness by providing them with new bikes, adapted trikes, and vital support throughout their treatment and recovery.

Exercise and activity have been shown in numerous scientific studies to be the single most effective way of improving both physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer. We promote cycling as the best form of exercise for children as it is outdoor, low impact, sociable and fun!

Every penny of your fundraising will be used to get more children living with cancer to get pedalling on their road to recovery so we are hugely grateful for your support
