CYCLISTS FIGHTING CANCER enables children and young people living with cancer across the UK to regain their physical fitness and mental wellness by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support. Physical activity is a key element in rehabilitation from treatments.

Story

Cyclists Fighting Cancer are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2025 and aiming to deliver their 10,000th bike to a child living with cancer, but can only do this with the help of our amazing fundraisers!

Every year in the UK 2,400 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer. Exercise has been shown in numerous scientific studies to be the single most effective way of improving both physical and mental wellness for people surviving cancer. We recommend cycling for children as it is low impact, outdoors, sociable and fun!

All of your fundraising goes towards supporting children just like Seb who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2018 and has been left with long term conditions which affect his mobility and vision.

I am totally utterly delighted to let you know that Seb has his trike!!! It’s INCREDIBLE! And he’s so, so happy. Seb can now cycle just like his sister and join in bike club like every other student. So not only is he getting fab exercise and having fun, he’s equal. Seb is beyond delighted - his smile out of the track brought tears to my eyes . Thank you so, so much for your support and help to make this happen. It’s just wonderful, I cannot thank CFC enough!
