Join us in our fundraising activities to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity – all money raised will be ringfenced and divided between Neuro-Oncology Research and Gastrointestinal Cancer Research at The Royal Marsden.

Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone for their ongoing generosity in helping to raise money for this fantastic charity. Last years event was a major success, especially with all the contributions with the auction and raffle after the golf event. We hope that people can be in attendance on the day to take part in the fundraising activities this year too.

As you are aware, this cause is close to my heart due to the ongoing success story of my son James and the ongoing treatments he receives through The Royal Marsden. In addition to this, we have further success stories with family and friends who have recently received tests or treatments for breast, prostate and other conditions for which we are all grateful.

This year’s story has a little twist and unfortunately, I will be standing down from further organising the event due to health reasons. Thanks to the FREE issue bowel screening kit, I carried out the test at home and the results followed very quickly. Fortunately for me, I have been diagnosed with a tumour in my bowel at an early stage.

By the time this page goes live, I will have had my surgery and be on my journey to recovery. My aim is to be in attendance and hopefully partaking in the golf day.

This year’s golf day will be held at Cuddington Golf Club on 19th June 2025.
