Story
Every year, sadly there are children in Cornwall diagnosed with cancer. Many will spend days, even weeks, in hospital, away from school, friends, and the comfort of their home.
At the heart of their care is the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital — a place of compassion, expertise, and hope. But while the clinical team provides outstanding treatment, there is always room for improving facilities and supporting the children and their families. And you can help.
Support The Children’s Cancer Unit Fund of Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity and raise vital funds to:
- Enhance inpatient bedrooms to feel warm, homely and restful.
- Improve play areas and teenage social spaces to support emotional wellbeing.
- Provide creative resources, activities, and equipment that bring joy and distraction.
- Support families – including siblings – who are navigating cancer alongside their loved one.
Together, we can help make hospital stays more comfortable. Together, we can give children and families across Cornwall the very best support on their cancer journey.
Together, we can make a big difference in small lives.
