Since the start of the war, Ajyal has supported over 18,000 displaced children in Gaza offering psychosocial activities and urgent essentials. Footage from these activities can be found below. This support is critical for their immediate and long term mental and physical welfare and recovery.

• £15 can provide a child a jacket

• £15 can provide a child with shoes

• £35 can supply a personal hygiene kit

• £30 can provide toys for 4 children

• £150 can provide 2 hours of psychosocial activities for children

Our emergency interventions include:

1. Provision of emergency essentials for children – food whenever warm clothes, hygiene products, etc.

2. Psychosocial activities for displaced children to support their mental welfare.

3. Psychological First Aid support for children, parents, and teachers/caretakers.

4. Provision of Comfort Bags to children (pending delivery through Rafah crossing)

Ajyal is an Oxford based charitable organisation with specialist knowledge and experience of supporting children's education and mental welfare through its projects in the West Bank and Gaza. Through our partner organisation based there, we are able to provide urgent support on the ground.
